DIY
Nightlightning supports those who want
to make or to customise their own light.
We have taken the guess work out and sourced the highest quality components,
pre-drilled the holes, and sourced the electronic boards. With the Blaast! series, we can
pre-assemble the control module. Otherwise all electronic boards come pre-loaded and tested. Choose
from the following complete kits. Halogen
LED (All
parts included, LEDs, optics, digital driver boards, & hardware)
Instructions
provided for all kits.
The digital control boards come assembled and tested.
Only a small
selection of tools are required, soldering iron, rivet gun for the Comet
range, side cutters, Allen Key driver, & 15mm ring spanner etc.
Select which
halogen lamp you require, either the 20 or 35W for the Comet series kits.
Note that we supply a different connector set with sealed lead acid
batteries than that supplied for NiMH or Li-ion batteries. Advise us
accordingly which battery you will run with.

We also have
an even smaller (25x20mm) LED driver board, simple
high efficiency switch mode electronics, suitable for 1 to 6 LEDs with 24V
DC operation. Reverse polarity protection built in. Max 30V DC.
This board can be dimmed via PWM control or have a simple high/low switch.
There is no
software on this board.
Available in the following constant currents. Suitable for the 1W, 5W,
& 3W LEDs.
