What
they are saying...
Claire
iBlaast!
Arrived yesterday (Monday 5th Nov) as you promised. Extremely pleased
with the build quality of your product. The light
it projects is better than my friends more expensive
Lupine Wilma 6, although mine did not come in a fancy carry
case, but so what!. Please give Eric a pat on the back
for me.
I
also appreciated your prompt reply to my emails enquiries,
which made doing business with a company on the other
side of the world feel as if it was just doing a deal with
my local bike shop. I will certainly be recommending your
product to others in my cycling club.
Please
email me if you bring out any upgrades to the iBlaast!
Thanks

Eric...
I also wanted to let you know the light is fantastic! I went
for a ride tonight and was very, very pleased. I even noticed
that cars were dimming their high beams to low which they hadn't
done before when I was using a much less powerful light. I think
they thought I was a motorcycle - fine with me. The beam
is perfect; a somewhat diffuse spot (which I like) so I can see
clearly what's coming and enough light to the sides so I can see
the whole road. Because the spot is a little diffuse it shades
off nicely to the sides which makes it easier to see the whole
field of view. And, I could only outrun it down hills that I
didn't know that well so had to brake a bit; the hills I was
familiar with I took at full speed. A great light!
An aside, but something I always look for, is that I noticed the
build quality and it is excellent; solid, nicely machined,
durable, and well made.
And, since more is always better, pur me on your list to be
notified when you have an upgrade to brighter LEDs. I heard
(don't know if its true) that Seoul or Cree is coming out with
an even brighter (300 lumens plus) LED sometime in the next few
months. Sign me up.
Thanks for making such a great product!

...It has now been approximately
12 months since I purchased an Endurenz light with accompanying
battery for my road bike.
I have used the light for approximately 7 hours per week on my
training rides...During this time I have always felt safe from
vehicular traffic and have enjoyed being able to see the road
ahead. A number of times I have had people comment on the
brightness of the light and have also had people stop me wanting
to know about the light.
I was most impressed lately when I had a small problem with the
mounting bracket. From the time of contacting you regarding this
to the time I had the repaired light back in my hands was no more
than 4 hours. Furthermore while you were attending to the light
you hadded another flashing mode to the light. All this was done
without fuss and no cost to me.
I would like to thank you for
providing an excellent light assembly and back up service to which
I am most grateful. Keep up the excellent work within the future.

...A couple of years ago I was
in Melbourne for a long weekend. In need of a decent bike light
for winter I vistited a few bike shops to see what they had to
offer.
Hid seemed to be the in word in
high end lighting. Efficient and putting out a huge amount of
white light from a modest ten watt bulb and small nickel metal
hydride battery.
The total cost of the light was
640.00 Aussie dollars. A high price I thought at the time but what
price a life on a dark wet road.
Fast forward to a few weeks ago
when getting ready to leave work my light got swept off a
workbench landing on the concrete floor with a sickening crack.
A phone call to the bike shop in
Melbourne yielded a startling result. First they no longer sold
that brand and the total cost of replacing the bulb and ballast
was in the region of
500.00 dollars. Something they
don’t mention when you’re buying the light.
Enter Nightlightning. I decided
to not replace the bulb and instead look for technology that was
going to be more reliable. What Nigthlightning have managed to do
with their Digital Blaast light is nothing short of amazing. With
features like three stage dimming, three different flashing
options including SOS and a strobe that would go well at a dance
party.
I did an AB test with my
neightbour who has an Hid light and the twelve watts the Blaast
put out was whiter, had a more even spread and was easily
comprable in light output. But I guess the most important thing is
the light itself is impervious to shock, will last for tens of
thousands of hours and a replacement bulb is in the order of 20.00
dollars.
The service I received from
Claire was excellent, I was able to pay with a credit card and to
top it all off Eric managed to fit a halogen bulb into the old Hid
head for a cost of 35 bucks giving my wife a replacement bike
light. Twelve out of ten Nightlightning!

...Lights used for the first
time last night in the Carbo Blaster race 1.5hr steep climb x 2
and rough rutted downhill. No problems at all worked great...
...Like the remote control very much, better than reaching to your
head when on single track, had it attached to my pack strap
(hydropod) and carried the battery in the pack. Good light system
weight wise and brightness...
...Thanks for the great service...

...This
is the brightest- and strongest halogen light I ever has used.
Earlier I has used first Night Sun in few years, then Jonco
Lite-Light for over ten years, both from USA. But this is
something other, and not from USA, but New Zeeland...
...The
powerful 35 w IRC-lamp was amazing, very bright and guide me over
all in technical terrain. Places were it was much of blank ice and
very frozen snow I could see the road very well long
way in front of me. I have used it on different weather as rain,
snow, wet snow, cold and windy...

Where
they are saying it...
Nightlightning sets the world ablaze!
Okay, maybe thats a slight embellishment with the current dry
situation were are all experiencing in South Eastern
Australia, but you certainly get the gist...!! Nightlightning
has recently stepped up its support of the Felt Racing
program, and they were certainly rewarded with a win overall
straight out of the bag, and whilst the fastest lap results
aren't posted quite yet, I have a feeling that you are going
to see a lot of fast night laps and in actual fact I think
that its either myself, John or Jason that have the fastest
ones. So, that in itself is enough to prove that Nightlighting
are certainly a major factor in a riders' performance.
But enough talking ourselves up, although someone has to...
Back to the race, and the lights themselves! The latest
generation LED's have been fitted up to a few sets of Blaast's
just last week in New Zealand, and arrived just in time to get
their first run around at the Werribee 12 hour. It was also
the initial fit up of the system to my helmet, and wow, what
an easy secure system it is!! I'm impressed!! After initially
being a touch cynical about the adhesion of Velcro, although
it has served the others well for months, I am now converted.
I have a penchant for quality equipment, having well done my
time on junk for many years, and I can say that these
Nightlightning lights are in a league that exceeds their price
tag! The quality of the built, the cooling fins, the
battery and leads, the Velcro, and the overall finish are
excellent, and thats before you even turn them on.
So fitting them to a helment was as simple as adhering a
couple of bits of adhesive velcro to the correct position on
my helmet and then pressing on the actual light. The velcro,
whilst I harp on it, isn't normal hook and loop velcro - its a
plastic variation that's interlocking. Its a little hard to
picture, but its phenomenal! So that would be it. Once the
male bit is stuck to the helmet, with an optional mount to
cater for different vent variations, the light goes on,
cables, switch and battery in the pocket and away!!! Thats
all.
The light is mounted centrally on the lid so there is no pull
to the front like another brand, and there isn't any wobble or
looseness in the mount, so its all good in that department.
And out the door we rolled, my light and I! Out on course, the
light is great, quite focussed on exactly where you want it,
but still with enough spread to either side for peripheral
vision. And the light is quite white still, not that ice blue
of HID, but very white! There is nothing worse than yellow
light, and these LED's smoke it!! And so with a few laps in
the bag, the lights became part of my riding - when you don't
even realize that you are riding in the dark, your times stay
fast, and you feel awesome, just like on the weekend!!
So two thumbs up for the new Lightlightning Blaast's - an
awesome setup to be sure, and constantly offering improvements
to show that they are a genuine manufacturer. Not content to
rest on their laurels, they are constantly refining and
developing their product to make it the best it can be for
you! Jack enjoyed the luxury of having a bar mount and helmet
mount for his laps, and he came back killing himself laughing
as there was just SO much light. So I guess 2 is better than
one :)
Felt Racing, whilst we only have a moral obligation to endorse
products, is happy to recommend these lights to anyone. They
are a quality light set for an affordable price, and with a
program of constant evolution, you can be assured of getting
the latest, greatest and brightest.
The Nightlightning Digital Blaast –
The Perfect Adventure Racing Light.
I have been using a Nightlightning Digital
Blaast for over a year and a half whilst adventure racing and
Mountain Biking. I have always been suitably impressed with its
robustness and performance. Walking/running, riding and Kayaking
my light has done it all. The high setting makes it so easy to
spot that little bit of reflective tape on checkpoints in those
wee hours of the morning.
